What is apparent weightlessness and true weightlessness?

You must have watched videos of astronauts floating inside space stations and wondered if they were actually defying gravity. But they are not; the force of gravity acting upon the astronauts aboard the ISS is almost 88% of the total force we experience on Earth’s surface. This sensation of not experiencing any gravity is known as weightlessness, but there’s a difference between apparent and true weightlessness.
