What is the process of making Kala Namak?
Black salt, which is known by names like Himalayan Black Salt, Indian Salt, Loban, Black Powder, actually comes from the areas around the Himalayas. Natural Kala Namak is taken from rocks only. But it is not fit for consumption directly. It is filtered and made edible. Black salt is made through a chemical process inside the furnace.
