US Senate refuses to expedite approval of bill to ban TikTok
Aoun stressed that a draft law, whose approval would force the Chinese owner of the Tik Tok application to sell it or else ban it in the United States, will proceed with caution in the Senate after the House of Representatives approved it.
The bill's overwhelming approval in the House of Representatives and support from US President Joe Biden raised fears that the application, which is used by 170 million people in the United States, could be banned within months.
