Andhra Pradesh MBBS Admission Eligibility Criteria
MBBS admissions in Andhra Pradesh will be based on NEET 2024 scores, followed by a counseling session conducted by Dr. NTRUHS, Andhra Pradesh. Candidates who have cleared the NEET 2024 cut-offs are eligible to pursue MBBS admission through the common state counseling application process.
Eligibility Criteria for Andhra Pradesh MBBS Admission
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have successfully passed their 10+2 examination.
Candidates must be from the Science stream.
Aspirants must have Biology as a compulsory subject with a minimum score of 50% marks.
Entrance Examination:
Candidates must have successfully cleared the NEET 2024 Exam.
Age Requirement:
Candidates must be at least 17 years old while applying for AP MBBS Admission.
There is no upper age limit to appear for the NEET exam starting from the academic year 2024.
Eligibility Criteria for NRI & Foreign Students
NRI Students:
NRIs can take admission only if the respective medical institute has seats reserved for NRI students under the institutional quota.
OCI Candidates:
OCI candidates will be eligible for Government Aided, Government Corporation, or private unaided colleges only if they have passed 10+2 from Andhra Pradesh or have lived in the state for at least 10 years.
Candidates should have completed the age of 17 years on or before December 31st of the admission year.
Candidates must have secured the NEET cut-off and the percentile deemed as passing marks by CBSE in NEET.
