Faux leather is one of the many names for artificial or synthetic leather.. These terms are frequently used to designate certain applications for synthetic leather products, such as imitation leather (for upholstery on sofas, chairs, and headboards), leatherette (for clothes and auto upholstery), and skin (consumer goods). The three main materials used to create imitation leather are silicone, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and polyurethane (PU)
